Your information. Your choices.

A local-first prototype for fictional information only.

Important Beta Safety Notice

Use fictional names, observations and sample documents only. Do not enter real children's identifying information or select their actual plans. Liam's goals, plans, team and progress are fictional examples.

The public homepage never opens family records. Explore Demo opens a separate, clearly fictional workspace. Family accounts require verified sign-in and start without demonstration children. Demo records cannot be imported into an account. Legacy fictional profiles remain in their old copies but are excluded from account views.

What Information We Process

IEP goals, therapy goals, home priorities, family-supplied school reports and home check-ins are stored only on this device and are never included in account sync. An uploaded or entered IEP target is not school performance evidence, and home observations are never combined with school measurements into a single score.

Profile names, nicknames, age, grade and service choices can still identify children, even though they are the only fields eligible for optional account sync.

How IEP Goal Extraction Works

The application is designed to read selected supported IEP documents on this device, propose candidate educational goals, and let you review and remove identifying information before anything is saved. Only approved goals and necessary criteria are retained; full original IEP documents are not permanently stored.

Goal candidates need explicit parent verification; external AI matching remains unavailable. IEP processing retains only approved educational goals and criteria, a generic goal reference and optional review period — not filenames, school identities, full-document text or original excerpts.

Goal wording can still contain sensitive or identifying details. Identifier warnings are advisory, not proof that all identifiers were removed. Manually entered goals are parent-transcribed, not independently school-verified. Scans and missed goals need manual entry.

Technical details about document handling

Selected files stay temporarily in memory and are not uploaded or saved. File references are released after processing and on completion, cancellation or leaving the page. Temporary buffers are cleared where possible, but browser and operating-system memory management prevent guarantees of immediate physical erasure.

Text-based PDFs (first 50 pages) and Word documents can be read on this device for date suggestions and possible IEP goal statements. For non-IEP plans, separately confirmed reminders save date excerpts and references locally. IEP upload now proposes goals only; it does not retain reminder excerpts. Legacy IEP source metadata is removed from the active account or demo copy when it opens, without changing goal wording. Older reminder sources, other devices and downloaded copies are not erased; use parent controls to delete unwanted saved records.

How SkillTransfer Intelligence Works

External AI drafting is unavailable in this prototype. Children’s documents and recorded information are not sent to AI services. You can review and edit your report on this device without signing in.

Find Related Skills can compare parent-verified communication goals on this device. The model is downloaded only after your explicit action, its files are checked for integrity and cached locally, and removing the downloaded model keeps your goals. Goal wording, criteria and embeddings are not sent to an inference service and are not included in account synchronization.

Every suggested match requires your approval or rejection. Results are possible connections, not mastery, clinical progress or proof of generalization. Find Related Skills was evaluated only on IEP-to-speech goal pairs; IEP-to-home suggestions are experimental and unvalidated. AI does not determine mastery and does not replace professional advice.

What Stays on Your Device

Local browser storage holds your goals, home observations, therapy information, reminders, report content and other local-only records. Local browser storage is not necessarily encrypted.

Reminders, notification read status, confirmed document excerpts and confirmation history remain on this device, even when limited account sync is enabled. All Family Notifications lists separate notices for each child; the child filter shows only that child's notices. Reports always use a single child's information.

Clearing browser storage may permanently remove local-only records; they cannot be recovered from the account afterward.

Optional Account Synchronization

Sync is off by default. In Settings you can explicitly enable private account sync with a SkillContinuum AI account. The comparison is:

  • Local device only: IEP goals, home observations, therapy information, reminders, report content, notes, skill-use text, document excerpts, original documents and generated reports.
  • Optional account sync: limited profile information (child names, nicknames, age, grade), selected service choices, decisions and checklist completion identifiers.

Sign in to the same account on another device and choose Restore saved account records. Only changes marked “Saved to your account” survive browser storage clearing. Account records are protected by sign-in and owner-only access rules, not independently verified end-to-end encryption. Disabled sync makes no family-record upload, download or polling requests. Earlier consent must be renewed for this limited version.

Technical details about deletion, backups and prior copies

“Delete saved account information” is available even while sync is off. It removes your account’s saved content, including any notes or excerpts from earlier sync versions, without downloading that content or removing this device’s local records; a record-free deletion marker prevents stale devices from silently restoring it. Enabled devices stop syncing when they detect the deletion; local and offline copies remain under their device owner’s control. Disabled devices do not check for deletions.

Deletion cannot remove downloads, previous local-only copies, offline device copies or provider backups immediately. Previous cloud information is not automatically purged by this update. Pausing sync stops transfers but does not delete its saved copy. Backup retention has not been independently verified. Signing out clears the account’s device copy.

Sharing and Downloaded Reports

Reports are created on this device. You review and approve the final report before downloading or printing. No report is automatically emailed or shared.

A downloaded report or export becomes a file you control. It may be stored outside this application. Choose carefully where you save it and who you share it with. Deleting records here does not delete downloaded copies.

Sharing permissions are simulated only and provide no live professional access.

Reminders and Notifications

Browser alerts are off by default and ask permission only after you explicitly enable them. They are optional, work only while this app is open on supported browsers, and cannot reliably arrive when it is closed. No email, SMS, background push or third-party messages are sent. Default browser alert text is: “You have an upcoming SkillContinuum reminder.” Diagnoses, detailed therapy information and sensitive behavior descriptions would not appear in default alerts. First names require your separate choice; reminder titles and detailed records are never included in browser alerts. Browser alert permission does not transfer to another device.

Calendar downloads are one-time files you control. Private titles are the default; including your own reminder title is optional. A calendar provider may synchronize an imported event and display its title on a lock screen. Dates, cancellation and deletion here do not update calendar copies. Review the calendar’s alert and privacy settings.

Technical details about closed-app delivery

Reliable closed-app push would require a server, a messaging service and a messaging worker, sharing device subscriptions and delivery timing beyond this browser. Separate consent, access controls, retention and revocation would be needed. This infrastructure is not connected.

Your Privacy Choices and Data Deletion

In Settings, choose what to export or delete. “Delete saved account information” is available even while sync is off. Keep your devices and browser profiles private.

You or your child's legal guardian own the decisions. School and therapist participation is optional. AI cannot independently change approved therapy goals or recommend stopping services.

Security and Known Limitations

This prototype does not offer independently verified end-to-end encryption or full regulatory compliance, and no application can guarantee absolute security. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to view its saved information. Clearing browser information can erase your saved records.

Application error reporting uses a fixed error notice, not record contents, exception messages or stacks. The application does not send family records as analytics events. This does not verify the behavior of hosting, browser extensions or other software outside the application.
